Roxi McKenzie led the Blugold volleyball team four consecutive years in assists and was all-conference twice. Her senior season, the Blugolds reached the round of 16 in the NCAA tournament. The Blugolds were 101-40 during her four-year career. At the time of her induction, McKenzie held the school volleyball single match and single season assist records and ranked second on the all-time assist list. McKenzie held UWEC’s career assist mark for 13 years until a new record was set in 2006. McKenzie was the Blugolds’ Rookie of the Year in 1990, Hustle Award winner in 1990 and 1991 and the Best Defensive Player in 1992. In addition to All-Conference recognition in 1992 and 1993, she was named to several All-Tournament teams, and the All-Region team in 1993. 

McKenzie graduated with a Medical Technology degree in 1995 and began her career at Myrtle Werth Medical Center in Menomonie. In 1996 she accepted a position at the Burnett Medical Center Lab in Grantsburg. In 2007 she was promoted to Lab Manager, a position she held at the time of her induction. Since moving back to her hometown, McKenzie has been involved in many areas of the community. She has served as Treasurer for the Town of West Marshland, a Sunday School Teacher, a Youth Group Volunteer and a Grantsburg Club Volleyball Coach. She has also volunteered several hours to the Grantsburg Youth Hockey Association & Grantsburg Fastpitch Club. At the time of her induction, she and her husband Duke were parents of two children.
