Glenn Derouin was a defensive starter and an offensive triple threat as a punter, passer and ball carrier for three years under football coach Bill Zorn from 1929-31. He was the school’s Male Athlete of the Year in 1930-31. Following his graduation in 1933, Derouin spent 35 years as a teacher and coach at Granton, Adams-Friendship, Barron, Medford, Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire North high schools, winning numerous conference championships in football and basketball. The Eau Claire native retired in 1974.
