NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's diving teams competed at the Dodd Road Invitational on Saturday at Carleton College. Multiple Blugolds won events during a strong showing on the boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Blake Wallen (So. - Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) won the men's six-dive competitions on both the one-meter and three-meter boards. He posted a score of 241.90 on the one-meter board and a 274.05 on the three-meter.
- Claire Grady won the women's six-dive competition on the one-meter board with a score of 158.75.
- Ella Josephs (So. - Plymouth, Wis.) took first in the women's 11-dive competition on the three-meter board. She scored a 359.15.
- Josephs, Grady, and Jordan Kuhn (Jr. - Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West) all earned third-place finishes in various events. TJ Kuhn took second in the men's 11-dive competition on the one-meter board.
UP NEXT
The postseason begins with the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships from February 19-22. The meet will be held at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, with UW-Eau Claire serving as the host.
