Chicago, Ill. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire competed in the 2025 D3 Shootout on Saturday, highlighted by
Emmett Botten's fourth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly and
Zhander Rowley's fourth-place effort in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Zhander Rowley, a senior, showcased his skills with a strong performance in the 200-yard breaststroke. He also contributed to a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. Freshman
Henry Botten made an impression with a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking in at 1:54.11, and participated in multiple relay events, including an eighth-place finish in the mixed 400-yard relay. Junior
Emmett Botten excelled in the 100-yard butterfly and contributed to the team's fifth-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
Henry Botten showcased versatility, securing eighth in the 400 IM and contributing to the eighth-place finish in the Mixed 400 Yard Relay.
Zhander Rowley achieved a strong fifth-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke and further excelled in the 200 Breaststroke.
Emmett Botten added to his performance by placing ninth in the 200 IM.
Derek Stadheim had a notable performance, finishing seventh in the 500 Freestyle and contributing to the ninth-place finish in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
Evan Bushko placed ninth in the 50 Freestyle and was part of the ninth-place 200 Freestyle Relay team.
