ROCHESTER, Minn. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued competing at the three-day Rochester Invite on Friday.
Ben Keller (Sr. - Cedarburg, Wis.) picked up his second win of the meet on Day 2 as part of another solid day for the Blugolds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- A day after winning the men's 200-yard individual medley, Keller added another title with a win in the 400-yard individual medley. He finished in 3:58.89 to defeat several NCAA Division II swimmers. He was the only competitor to finish the event in under four minutes.
- Many other Blugolds recorded top-four finishes on Friday. Ian Olson (Sr. - Chippewa Falls, Wis.) and Zhander Rowley (So. - Janesville, Wis./Parker) finished three-four in the men's 100-yard breaststroke.
- Kadin Denner (Sr. - Aurora, Colo./Cherokee Trail) took fourth in the men's 400-yard IM. Blake Wallen (So. - Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) finished fourth on the men's three-meter diving board.
- Molly Hosack (Jr. - Cedarburg, Wis.) took fourth in the women's 200-yard freestyle. The Blugolds also took fourth in the women's 200-yard freestyle relay.
- The UW-Eau Claire men are in third place in the team standings while the women sit in fourth.

The meet concludes on Saturday, December 7. Prelims are at 9:30 a.m. and finals follow at 5:30 p.m.
