LAKE BLUFF, Ill (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team traveled to Lake Forest College this afternoon. The Blugolds came out on top with a final score of 8-1.

Eau Claire won all three doubles matches with Clare Palen (Jr.-Rochester, MN) and Samantha Fuchs (So.-DeForest, WI) in one doubles (8-3), Morgan Nelson (Jr.-Beaver Dam) and Anna Lee (Fr.-Buffalo, WI) in two doubles (8-3), and Morgan Dekan (So.-Altoona, WI) and Sydney Presler (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI) with a shutout in three doubles (8-0). The Blugolds went 5-1 for the day in their singles matches. Palen battled in a tight match in one singles winning 7-4, 7-5. In two singles Fuchs won with ease going 6-0, 6-4. 

The Blugolds will take on Grinnell on Saturday, March 11th. The match is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
