MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) announced its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of September 7 - September 13, with UW-Eau Claire women's golfer Tally Schlindwein earning Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors. The selection was determined by a vote of WIAC head coaches and sports information directors.

Schlindwein helped lead the Blugolds to a seventh-place finish at the Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) D3 Classic. She carded rounds of 74 (+2) and 79 (+7) for a two-round total of 153 (+9), finishing tied for 13th individually. Schlindwein recorded five birdies throughout the tournament, including a stretch of three birdies over four holes.

The Blugolds will return to action Friday, September 18, through Saturday, September 19, at the Twin Ports Collegiate, hosted by UW-Superior.
