HASTINGS, Minn. — UW-Eau Claire sits in sixth place after Round 1 of the D3 Classic at Emerald Greens Golf Club, posting a 315 (+27) on the par-72, 5,712-yard course. Tally Schlindwein led the Blugolds with a 74 (+2), placing fourth individually through the opening round. She recorded a team-high four birdies.

Following Schlindwein, Grace Raich sits tied for 26th overall with a 79 (+7) after recording three birdies on the back nine. Lilly Kaminski is tied for 31st at 80 (+8), thanks to back-to-back birdies on holes 16 and 17. Karalyn Skinner finished her first round tied for 42nd  with a score of 82 (+10), while Elizabeth Hermann completed her round with an 86 (+14).

The Blugolds will wrap up the two-day D3 Classic on Sunday, Sept. 13, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m.
