HASTINGS, Minn. — UW-Eau Claire placed seventh out of 18 teams at the D3 Classic after two rounds at Emerald Greens Golf Course, posting a 625 (+49). Tally Schlindwein led the Blugolds individually, tying for 13th at 153 (+9), while Grace Raich followed in 18th at 154 (+10).

Saint Benedict (Minn.) won the meet with a two-round total of 611 (+35), finishing 14 strokes ahead of the Blugolds. UW-Eau Claire carded rounds of 315 and 310.

Schlindwein tied for 13th at 153 (+9) with rounds of 74 and 79. Raich finished 18th at 154 (+10) after carding a second-round 75 (+3) that included an eagle and two birdies. Lilly Kaminski tied for 30th at 159 (+15) after rounds of 79 and 80. Elizabeth Hermann tied for 44th at 163 (+19) after carding a 77 (+5) in the second round, highlighted by two birdies. Karalyn Skinner tied for 51st overall after rounds of 82 (+10), recording an eagle and three birdies in the second round.

The Blugolds travel to Superior, Wis., on Friday, Sept. 18, for the 8th Annual Twin Ports Collegiate Tournament at Nemadji Golf Course.
