EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team was on their home course over the weekend for their annual home meet, the Blugold Georgianni Invite. The Blugolds finished the meet in third place behind Lily Kaminski finishing fourth overall.
Lily Kamniski recorded three birdies over the weekend and 15 pars to place fourth overall among the 36 competitors. Kaminski posted rounds of 85 and 80 to finish +22 over par.
Tally Schlindwein was close behind with a 6th place finish and a weekend score of +24 over par.
Elizabeth Hermann placed 11th and
Riane Hayden placed 23rd, helping UWEC finish third of seven teams.
The Blugolds' second team placed sixth with
Emily Utter,
Bailey Eddicus, and
Bri Novak placing in the top-25.
The Blugolds will be back on road next weekend as they compete at the D3 Classic in Hastings, Minn. The opening round at Emerald Greens Golf Club is scheduled for Saturday, September 13 at 1 p.m.
