EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire saw a dozen student athletes named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Of the twelve UWEC student athletes receiving honors, the Blugold men's golf team was represented by
Nick Amtmann and
Corey Boerner.
Preston Carlisle and
Tristan Drier were named from the wrestling team and
Tyler Herzberg and
Jordan Randall were honored from the men's hockey team.
Samantha Bandholz and
Ava Bullert represented the women's hockey team and gymnastics saw
Meghan Dahlin and
Kelsey Donovan receive honors.
Elizabeth Hermann was the lone women's golfer and
Alexie Romanelli was named from the women's lacrosse team.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
NCAA, NAIA and College Division Women's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on
Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The Men's At-Large Teams will be announced on
Wednesday, July 9.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure. The College Division Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) governance structure.
