EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Four members of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday.

Ethan Leeser (Jr. - Rochester, Minn./Lourdes), Andrew Mueller (Sr. - Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial), Sam Murillo (So. - Minneapolis, Minn./Coon Rapids) and Ethan Wurtzel (Sr. - Menomonie, Wis.) all received the honor. Wurtzel is an Academic All-District pick for the second time in his career, while the three other Blugolds earned the award for the first time.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. All four Blugold men met minimum grade point average and competitive requirements to earn the distinction.
