MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of November 24 - 30. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's basketball's Carter Lichtsinn has been named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Lichtsinn helped UW-Eau Claire record their best start since the 1999 campaign with the team's seventh and eighth wins of the season. He led the Blugolds in scoring during victories over Bethel University (Minn.) and St. Olaf College (Minn.), averaging 17.5 points per game and 13.5 rebounds per game. Lichtsinn's double-double against the Royals on Nov. 25, was his first of the season as he leads UW-Eau Claire in total points and rebounds.
