MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of October 27 - November 2. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's swimming's Derek Stadheim has been named the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Stadheim found the top of the podium four times as the Blugolds defeated UW-La Crosse on Nov. 1. He placed first in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, and 400-yard freestyle relay, collecting 385 team points.
