Men's and Women's Swim and Dive Defeat St. Norbert; Rowley, Stadheim, and Josephs Set Pool Records

De Pere, Wis. — Both the UW-Eau Claire swim and dive teams secured decisive victories, highlighted by Zhander Rowley setting the pool record in the 100 breast, Derek Stadheim setting the pool record in the 500 free, and Ella Josephs setting the pool record on 1m in 11 dives. The meet also saw Ella Josephs and Tait Johnson earn ncaa zone cuts on 1M diving.

For the men, Emmett Botten secured first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.52 and contributed to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. He also helped the team to a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Testin excelled in the 100-yard freestyle, winning with a time of 48.25, and anchored the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team. Zhander Rowley took the 100-yard breaststroke in 56.86 and claimed first in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:04.34. Todd O'Connor topped the 50-yard freestyle with a 22.54 finish and added a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Jacob Bisek captured the 200-yard freestyle in 1:49.58 and placed third in the 500-yard freestyle. 

UWEC Men's Team Summary  
- The Blugolds secured multiple event wins, highlighted by victories in both the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:35.88) and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:29.19).  
- Kaden Zink led the 1000 Yard Freestyle, finishing first with a time of 10:16.50.  
- Bisek took first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:49.58.  
- Testin captured the 100 Yard Backstroke (55.24) and the 100 Yard Freestyle (48.25).  
- Rowley won the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 56.86 and also the 200 Yard IM in 2:04.34.  
- Botten claimed victories in the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:00.05) and the 100 Yard Butterfly (51.52).

For the women, Grace Schnabl demonstrated consistent performance, capturing first place in both the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.63 and the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 55.49. Amber Winter excelled in the 100-yard breaststroke, clinching first in 1:09.83, and contributed to a second-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke. Anwen Smith was pivotal in the 200-yard medley relay victory and narrowly missed the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing second by just one-tenth of a second with a time of 2:00.66.

UWEC Women's Team Summary  
- UWEC captured the women's 200-yard medley relay, clocking a time of 1:52.01 with the team earning 11 points.  
- Hyland dominated the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 11:13.80.  
- Hosack achieved first place in the 200-yard freestyle, recording a time of 2:00.56.  
- Erika Schroeder led the 100-yard backstroke, winning with a time of 1:01.71.  
- Winter secured first in the 100-yard breaststroke, timing 1:09.83.  
- The team took the top spot in the 200-yard butterfly, with Elaina Plonis finishing in 2:14.43.  
- Schnabl won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.63.
