ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Blugold Swim and Dive traveled to St. Cloud, Minnesota to face off in a dual with Division II's St. Cloud State (SCSU). Men's swim and dive scored 90 points to SCSU's 207 while women's swim and dive scored 80 points to SCSU's 220.

Men's Swim and Dive:
Zhander Rowley secured a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.10 and added another victory in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:09.73. Jack Gunderson earned second in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 58.20, and also took second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:03.46. Emmett Botten placed second in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 1:59.14, and contributed to a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Drew Testin placed third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.74 and helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team secure second place with a time of 1:26.69.

Team Summary  
- UWEC had strong performances in several events, highlighted by Rowley's victories in the 100 yard breaststroke and 200 yard breaststroke.  
- The team excelled in relay events, placing third in the 200 yard medley relay (1:35.42) and second in the 200 yard freestyle relay.  
- Derek Stadheim secured second place in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:06.80.  
- In diving, Tait Johnson and Charlie Nohner achieved third place finishes in the 1 meter and 3 meter events, respectively.  
- Gunderson contributed with a second place finish in the 200 yard IM.  


Women's Swim and Dive:
Elaina Plonis led her team with a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking in at 2:12.83. Faith Oswald contributed with a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:00.76 and a fourth place in the 50-yard freestyle at 25.83. Amanda Hyland showcased her endurance by taking second place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:08.03 and third in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 5:33.40. Annie Hippen earned a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, recording a time of 2:12.69, and placed third in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:01.93.

Team Summary
- The Blugolds' women's team captured multiple top finishes, highlighted by Elaina Plonis winning the 200 Yard Butterfly in 2:12.83.
- The women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team took second place with a time of 1:41.95.
