MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of September 29-October 5. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team's Bella Jones has been named the women's soccer defensive player of the week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Jones tallied 12 saves during the Blugolds two games during week as UW-Eau Claire went 1-1. She recorded her third shutout of the season on Oct. 4, with a 1-0 victory over UW-Oshkosh, while making three saves.
