SURPRISE, Ariz. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Nick Amtmann (Sr. - Nashotah, Wis./Arrowhead) finished in a tie for 40th at the prestigious Thunderbolt tournament on Tuesday at Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club. Amtmann wrapped up the elite three-day invitational at 3 over par.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Amtmann carded a 76 in Tuesday's final round.
• He finished the three-day tournament with a score of 219.
• He tied with eight other golfers also at 3 over par for the tournament.
