New Orleans, La. - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's track & field team earned a spot on the 2026 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic Award in NCAA Division III, the organization has announced Monday. UWEC finished with a 3.65 cumulative grade point average in 2026.

The Blugolds finished T-seventh place at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship while maintaining a 3.65 cumulative grade point average. UW-Eau Claire finished the Outdoor Championships with 25 points. Head Coach Chip Schneider just finished up his 18th season at the helm of the women's program.

23 members of UWEC's women's team were named to the 2026 USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team.

Kayla Behnke (computer science), Keeley Behr (biochem), Laura Bertrang (environmental biology), Mya Cinnamo (nursing), Michaela Dick (rehab science), Lauren Dimler (political science), Alyssa Draheim (rehab science), Annabelle Eaton (rehab science), Britt Fitzgerald (nursing), Kylee Grabarski (physical education), Elia Happe (biology/pre-dentistry), Molly Heidorn (communication science and disorder), Catie Hook (exercise science), Bella Hooker (art/graphic communication), Lauren Jex (accounting), Allyson Kakes (speech language pathology), Amaria Kejo (biology), McKenzie Kruse (nursing), Brooklyn Lamers (rehab science), Hope Schueller (nursing), Anna Thaler (psychology), Kendall Thurston (nursing), and Ava Webster (nursing) earned the honor for UWEC.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 and met at least one of the following athletic standards: have finished the indoor or outdoor season ranked in the national top 50 of an individual event or in the national top 35 of a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order list on TFRRS; or competed in the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship.
