MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Januray 5-11. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling's Landon Church has been named the Wrestling Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Church led the way during the week for the Blugolds as they captured their fourth straight Budd Whitehill Dual championship. He went 5-0 during the tournament, including key wins over Region 2 No. 6-ranked Ryan Santiago from Wilkes University (Pa.) and Region 1 No. 6-ranked Ty Stewart from Springfield College (Mass.). Church was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 149 division and was also tabbed the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the entire weekend.
