Izzy Balsiger doesn't think it could have worked with any other team.

The 33-year-old from Chippewa Falls is in his final days of training as a member of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling team, preparing for the NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling Championships. The 125-pound regional champion will cap an incredible second chapter of his career when he takes the mats in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, starting Friday. 

"It's been a journey," Balsiger says with a smile.
