MANHEIM, Pa. - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-American Awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by individual student-athletes across the nation. Of the 473 student athletes being recognized, eleven UW-Eau Claire wrestlers earned the award for the 2025-26 season.
Blakelee Bastien (Software Engineering),
Finn Bloomquist (Business Management),
Preston Carlisle (Nursing),
Landon Church (Business Management),
Ryder Depies (Actuarial Science),
Carter Friend (Social Studies Education),
Jon Harvey (Accounting),
Zak McPhee (Biology),
Travis Moelter (Business Management),
Calvin Singewald (Finance), and
Wyatt Unser (Exercise Science), and all received Scholar All-American distinction.
In order to be named a Scholar All-American, a wrestler must have either placed in the top eight of their regional tournament or have a winning percentage greater than 66% across 15 matches. In the classroom, they must have an average GPA of 3.2 or higher over the last two semesters or a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better.
The Blugolds tallied multiple repeat winners on their list as Carlisle earned the award for the fourth time, Harvey for a third time, and Depies, McPhee, and Moelter for a second time.
