EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Last week, Eau Claire's City Council approved and announced the plans to renovate and improve the historic Carson Park Baseball Stadium. The Council identified importance of adding turf to the field and includes significant upgrades to the dugouts, seating, and fan amenities.

UW-Eau Claire Athletics and Blugold Baseball are committed to bringing this plan to completion, working closely with the City of Eau Claire and the Eau Claire Express to remove barriers, finalize costs, and establish an installation timeline. This project marks a pivotal moment in Blugold Baseball history, giving UWEC greater flexibility to utilize Carson Park more frequently—not just for convenience, but as a true competitive advantage.
