NEW ORLEANS — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track and field teams received 36 all-region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2025 outdoor season. The USTFCCCA announced its all-region awards Wednesday.
The UW-Eau Claire women received 20 all-region honors in the North Region, while the men earned 16.
Eight honors came in relay events for the Blugold women.
Hope Schueller (So. - St. Cloud, Minn./Cathedral),
Allyson Kakes (So. - Two Rivers, Wis.),
Kylee Grabarski (Jr. - Waunakee, Wis.) and
Sophia Crespo (So. - Prior Lake, Minn.) were all-region in the 4x100-meter relay, while
Mya Cinnamo (So. - Rosemount, Minn.),
McKenzie Kruse (Fr. - Spring Green, Wis./River Valley),
Lauren Jex (Jr. - Germantown, Wis.) and Grabarski earned honors in the 4x400.
In other track events, Kakes was honored in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Grabarski earned a nod in the 400.
Michaela Dick (So. - Marshfield, Wis.) and
Lauren Dimler (Jr. - Janesville, Minn./Mankato West) were both all-region in the 400-meter hurdles.
Emilee Booker (Sr. - Genoa City, Wis./Badger) earned honors in the 100-meter hurdles and heptathlon.
Emma Gruen (Sr. - Elroy, Wis./Royall) was also all-region in heptathlon along with high jump.
In other field events,
Kayla Behnke (Sr. - Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) was all-region in discus,
Teagan Jones (Sr. - Lake Zurich, Ill.) earned distinction in hammer and
Laura Bertrang (So. - New Ulm, Minn.) got the nod in in javelin.
For the Blugold men, nine all-region honors came in field events.
Yakob Ekoue (Sr. - Hopkins, Minn.) led the way with three honors: shot put, discus and hammer.
Soren Johnson (Jr. - Fall Creek, Wis.) was also all-region in discus, while
Adam Strouf (Sr. - Rice Lake, Wis.) and
Gage Stankiewicz (Sr. - Esko, Minn.) were both honored in shot put.
Johnny Botsch (Fr. - Brookfield, Wis./East) was all-region in pole vault.
Wes Keller (Sr. - Richland Center, Wis.) picked up the accolade in high jump.
Tommy Mestnik (Sr. - Prior Lake, Minn.) was a recipient in javelin.
In the multi events,
Mitch Stegeman (Sr. - Coleman, Wis./Suring) was an all-region pick in decathlon.
On the track,
Stefan Klechefski (Sr. - Roberts, Wis./River Falls) was all-region in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Blake Postler (Fr. - Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) was also a two-time selection, earning the nod in the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
Mason Shea (Sr. - River Falls, Wis.) was all-region in steeplechase.
Sam Verkerke (Sr. - White Bear Lake, Minn.) picked up honors in the 1,500-meter run.
The Blugolds wrap up their season with the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships from May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio.
