EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Nine student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire cross country and track and field teams received Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday.
Five Blugold women and four Blugold men earned the honor.
Keeley Behr (Jr. - Metea Valley, Ill.),
Kayla Behnke (Sr. - Appleton, Wis./Kimberly),
Emilee Booker (Sr. - Genoa City, Wis./Badger),
Emma Gruen (Sr. - Elroy, Wis./Royall) and
Teagan Jones (Sr. - Lake Zurich, Ill.) received the distinction for the women, while
Wes Keller (Sr. - Richland Center, Wis.),
Mason Shea (Sr. - River Falls, Wis.),
Mitch Stegeman (Sr. - Coleman, Wis./Suring) and
Adam Strouf (Sr. - Rice Lake, Wis.) did the same for the men.
The 2025 Academic All-District Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Behnke, Jones and Strouf all advanced to the Academic All-America ballot. The Academic All-America teams will be announced in mid-July.
