MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of March 31 - April 6. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire softball team's Megan Patterson (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) has been named the softball position player of the week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches.

Patterson had a strong performance across four games at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational held April 5-6, leading the offense with six hits. Over the course of 11 at-bats, she posted a .545 batting average. Patterson had a home run, double and drove in four runs. Defensively, she posted a perfect fielding percentage.
