LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 386 student-athletes from 161 schools who comprise the 2026 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. Representing the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is Paige Lathrop, Hailey Hagedorn, and Claire Beck.
Paige Lathrop earns her second career All-Region award after being named to the All-Region second team a year ago. Lathrop's All-Region First Team outfielder award comes after a senior season where she led the Blugolds in batting average (.478), runs (53), hits (64), and stolen bases (24). Lathrop was also named to the All-WIAC first team earlier in the week.
Hailey Hagedorn was named Region VIII's All-Region first team first basemen after a career high season. Hagedorn was second on the team in batting average (.417), fifth in slugging percentage (.583), and led the team with 164 putouts.
Lastly, Claire Beck was named as the third team designated player for Region VIII. Beck led the Blugolds with an OPS of 1.101 this season and played in all but one game. Claire also ranked second on the team in hits (47) and second in extra base hits (17).
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region. Coaches may nominate a maximum of eight players from their squad.
If they were not already voted to an All-Region squad, conference Players and Pitchers of the Year from member institutions are added to the third team in their region, so long as they are nominated by their member head coach and receive votes.
All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 27 on NFCA.org and the Association's social media accounts.
