MADISON, Wis.--The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced its softball awards for the 2026 season, based on voting by the conference coaches. Six University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire softball student athletes have been named to their respective teams for their performances during the 2026 season.
Paige Lathrop and
Norah Kutnink were both named to the All-WIAC first team. This is second straight year Lathrop has been named to the All-WIAC team and Kutnink's first. In conference, Lathrop ranked 9th overall in batting average (.396), 5th in on base percentage (0.492), 1st in runs scored (16), 5th in hits (19), and tied for 6th overall in RBIs (10). Kutnink ranked tied for 2nd overall in RBI's (15), tied for 7th in stolen bases (3), tied for 7th in hits (17), and was 12th overall in on base percentage (0.463).
The three Blugolds named to the Honorable Mention team were
Claire Beck,
Kasey Felden, and
Breeley Gluch. During conference play, Beck tied for 9th for innings pitched (30.2) and tied for 6th in RBIs (10), Felden ranked 11th overall in ERA (2.42) and 12th in strikeouts (18), and Gluch ranked 3rd overall in both on base percentage (0.553) and on base plus slugging (1.207). This is the first All-WIAC award for all three on the Honorable Mention team.
Emma Raikowski was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team for her leadership and sportsmanship throughout the season, as well as being an integral part of the Blugolds' roster.
