STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track and field teams claimed three individual titles during the first day of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships on Friday at UW-Stevens Point. The Blugold women are in second place in the team standings after the first day of action and the men are in third.
The Blugold men produced two conference champions on the first day of the meet. The Blugold women had one.

The Blugolds also had multiple top-three finishers.
Bella Hooker was second in the women's one-mile run.
Ella Williamson was third in the women's high jump.
Emilee Booker was second in the women's long jump.
