LA CROSSE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Caged Eagle Invite on Friday at UW-La Crosse. The Blugold women took second place while the men placed fourth.

The Blugold women tallied 73.5 team points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 166.5. The UW-Eau Claire men tallied 56 points. UW-La Crosse won with 236.5.

The Blugolds had multiple top-three finishes at the meet.

Men's top-three finishers

• Blake Postler – 60-meter hurdles, third place
• Jack Schreiber – 200-meter dash, second place
• Colin McClowry – 200-meter dash, third place
• Wes Keller – high jump, second place
• Izaak Clendenning, Jack Schreiber, Harrison Cull, Colin McClowry – 4x400-meter relay, third place

Women's top-three finishers

• Emilee Booker – 60-meter hurdles, third place
• Allison Weissinger – 3,000-meter run, third place
• Kylee Grabarski, McKenzie Kruse, Allyson Kakes, Mya Cinnamo – 4x400-meter relay, second place
• Laura Bertrang – high jump, second place

UP NEXT

The Blugolds will head to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships on Feb. 28-March 1 in Stevens Point. The meet begins at 11:30 a.m. on February 28.
