MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of November 17 - 23. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey's Madison Krumholz has been named the Women's Hockey Player of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Krumholz led the Blugold offense on Nov. 22, defeating No. 1-ranked UW-River Falls at Hobbs Ice Arena. With two goals and an assist, Krumholz and UW-Eau Claire secured their second WIAC win of the season. After two scoreless periods, Krumholz opened the scoring early in the third period with her third goal of the season. Just five minutes later, Krumholz assisted on UW-Eau Claire's second goal for a 2-0 lead. She sealed the victory with an empty net goal in the final minute, putting the Blugolds at the top of the conference standings.
