Ava Bullert. UW-Eau Claire's
Adrienne Hansen took a penalty for body checking at 18:44, granting River Falls a power play, but the Blugolds' defense held firm. Despite multiple power-play chances and shots from UW-River Falls, the period concluded scoreless, with both teams unable to capitalize on their opportunities.
