PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track and field teams competed at a pair of meets on Saturday, with some of the squads at the UW-Platteville Triangular and others at the Aurora Grand Prix. The Blugold men and women swept their respective team titles in Platteville, highlighting a strong all-around day. The women tallied 153.50 team points while the men scored 124.50.
Blugold event winners at UW-Platteville Triangular
The Blugolds did not have any event winners at the Aurora Grand Prix, but the men's 4x400-meter relay team of
Jack Schreiber,
Izaak Clendenning,
Connor Jankuski and
Colin McClowry took second in 3:19.72. Schreiber and McClowry also took third in the 200- and 400-meter dashes, respectively.
UP NEXT
The Blugolds are next in action Friday, January 31. Most of the Blugold athletes will compete at UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Open, while some of the Blugold men will travel east to compete at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic.
