MADISON - UW-Eau Claire outfielder Steph Farenbaugh (Jr. -Brownton, MN/McLeod West) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Softball Position Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.

Farenbaugh helped UW-Eau Claire to a doubleheader sweep over St. Norbert on April 2. In a 13-3 five-inning win over the Green Knights in game one, she was four-for-four with five RBIs, one double, two runs scored and one stolen base. In the Blugolds' 15-3 victory in game two, Farenbaugh was three-for-four with one RBI, three runs scored and one stolen base. She finished the two games seven-for-eight (.875) with six RBIs, five runs scored, two stolen bases and one double.
