EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – UW-Eau Claire Athletics has announced the addition of Sam Konrath as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2026-27 academic year.

Konrath enters his first season with the Blugolds and will primarily work with men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track & field.

Konrath joins UW-Eau Claire after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Colorado State University since the fall of 2023. Prior to his time at Colorado State, he served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UW-Stout from 2021-22 and as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Utah State University from 2019-21.

A native of Thiensville, Wis., Konrath earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He later earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Medicine from Utah State University.

Konrath is a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer and holds Basic Life Support for Healthcare certification through the American Heart Association. He also holds additional athletic training licenses and certifications.
