EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team hosted UW-Whitewater Friday night. The Blugolds fell to the Warhawks 6-1.
The Blugolds began the night with doubles play, winning one of three matches. Doubles pairs Pablo Rincon & Danylo Ripeckyj, and Same Murillo &
Andrew Mueller each lost thier matches 6-1.

Billy Hughes won their match 6-2.
Singles play saw similar results, as the team only won one of their matches. Danylo Ripecky was the lone winner, defeating Gavin Kelleher in three sets (4-6, 6-4, 1-0). For the rest of the squad, Pablo Rincon lost 6-1, 6-1;
Billy Hughes lost in a competitive match, 6-4, 7-5; and
Sam Murillo fell 6-4, 6-0. The evening rounded off with
Ethan Leeser falling 6-4, 6-1; and
Emilio Monge was taken down 6-3, 6-1.
The Blugolds will be back in action tomorrow, March 7th at 12:00 as they host UW-La Crosse.
