MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of March 9 – 14. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Baseball's Nicholas Meuser has been named the Baseball Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Meuser helped the Blugolds to their second win of the season on March 10. He faced 20 batters through 6 scoreless innings and surrendered just one hit against Carleton College (Minn.). During his outing, Meuser struck out seven and walked just one batter while posting a 0.00 ERA.
