EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire achieved a total score of 189.525, defeating UW-Stout's score of 186.375, their highest score against the Blue Devils since 1995. The victory was highlighted by Meghan Dahlin's 9.800 on the balance beam, tying her career best and second best score in program history.
The Blugolds' highest event score was on the balance beam at 47.900. The beam was led by Dahlin's careed day, followed by and Harriet Gehlon and Jozie Armos with matching scores of 9.650. The team also saw strong scores from Grace Gerster at 9.450 and Georgia Guynn at 9.350.
The Blugolds posted a 46.550 on the uneven bars, led by Kinley Rose with a score of 9.625 and Rachel Hettiarachy with a score of 9.400. Ella Montgomery finished with a 9.325, and Ava Obermoller finished at 3.00.
On the vault, Haley Zampella, Grace Gerster, and Hanna Riha each put in similar strong performances, scoring 9.575, 9.550, and 9.525 respectively. Abigail Berens put in a solid 9.400, and Ava Obermoller scores 9.300 to round things off.
The Blugold continued their strong season on the floor. The team was led by Sky Skipper who put up a 9.625 performance. Close behind her was Anna Preussner scoring 9.600, Hanna Riha with 9.575, and Emily Leese at 9.550.
