Eau Claire, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Gymnastics team set multiple program records in Thursday nights loss to UW-Oshkosh. The new records included a program best team score of 192.900, breaking the record set last Sunday of 190.925. The meet was highlighted by sophomore
Hareet Gehlon tying the program record on the balance beam with a score of 9.825, also setting her new personal best. The Blugolds also set a new program record for uneven bars with a team score of 48.200.
The Blugolds once again had a great night on the balance beam with a team score of 48.200, 0.025 shy of the program record set on Sunday. The event was led Gehlon's record breaking performance. Behind Gehlon were multiple other strong performances including a personal best 9.750 from Georgia Guynn and a personal best 9.700 from Grace Gerster. Linnea Vasali scored a 9.650 and Jozie Armos scored a 9.625.
On the uneven bars, the Blugolds put up a program record 48.200 score, led by Kinley Rose and her personal best 9.775 score. Following Rose saw Ava Obermoller and Rachel Hettiarachy both score 9.675. Ella Montgomery scored a 9.625 and Linnea Vasali scored a 9.450.
The Blugolds put up a score of 47.675 on vault led by Ava Obermoller's personal best 9.700 score. Behind that was Abigail Berens and Grace Gerster each cored a 9.575. Haley Zampella scored a 9.450 and Cadence Cordova scored 9.375.
Lastly, on the floor, the team had a big day scoring 48.475. Anna Preussner and Hanna Riha both led the team with personal bests scoring 9.800. Kamryn Andrade was close behind with a personal best 9.700. Rounding things out was Emily Leese's 9.600 and Sky Skipper's 9.575
