Kalamazoo, Mich. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire achieved a total score of 189.325 placing 3rd of 4 teams, highlighted by Linnea Vasali's 9.750 on the balance beam and Haley Zampella's 9.675 on her floor routine, in a quad meet at Western Michigan University.
The Blugolds' highest event score was on the balance beam at 48.000. The beam was led by Vasali top score as well as Megan Dahlin's 9.625 and Harriet Gehlon's 9.650. The team also saw strong scores from Grace Gerster at 9.525 and Josie Armos at 9.450.
The Blugolds posted a 46.275 on the uneven bars, led by Kinley Rose and Linnea Vasali's matching scores of 9.500. Candice Cordova also delivered a noteworthy performance with a 9.425, as well as Ava Obermoller with a score of 9.325.
On the vault, Anna Preussner led the way with a score of 9.625. Haley Zampella alsohad a strong performance earning a score of 9.575. They were followed by a score of 9.500 from Abigail Berens, 9.450 from Hanna Riha, and a 9.375 from Ava Obermoller and Grace Gerster.
The Blugold had a strong day on the floor. The team was led by Haley Zampella's 9.675 score. Sky Skipper scored 9.525, and Anna Preussner scored 9.475. Emily Leese, Kamryn Andrade, and Hanna Riha all had scores of 9.425.
