MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) announced its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 12-Oct. 18, with UW-Eau Claire's Jake Gregorio earning Football Offensive Athlete of the Week honors. The selections were determined by a vote of WIAC head coaches and sports information directors.

Jake Gregorio had a career day as the Blugolds defeated UW-Oshkosh 28-7 at Carson Park on October 17. He tallied 14 tackles, with three tackles for loss that totaled six yards lost by the Titans. Gregorio led the UW-Eau Claire defense that kept an Oshkosh offense that was averaging 460+ yards per game to 320 total yards.

The Blugolds (5-1, WIAC 2-1) will be back in action on Saturday, October 24 when they travel to UW-River Falls. Kickoff from Smith Stadium at Ramer Field is set for 1:00 p.m.
