MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of September 8-September 14. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's soccer team's Owen Williams has been named the soccer offensive player of the week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Williams helped the Blugolds go 1-1 against non-conference opponents – No. 7-ranked Augsburg University (Minn.) and Elmhurst University (Ill.). He garnered the game-winning goal at home against Elmhurst on Sept. 13, to help UW-Eau Claire bring their record at home to 13-1-1 in their last 15 games at Simpson Field.
