MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's
Nicholas Meuser (So. - Burnsville, Minn.) was named an honorable mention on the 2025 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) baseball team on Wednesday.
Meuser, a right-handed pitcher, is the Blugolds' lone representative on the All-WIAC team. He posted a 2-3 record in conference play this season, striking out 29 across 39.1 innings. He had a 5.95 ERA in WIAC play, but ended the season on a high note.
The sophomore went 2-1 across his final four starts and posted a 3.85 ERA in that span. He threw nine scoreless innings against UW-Oshkosh — an NCAA Tournament team — on April 13, and ended the campaign with back-to-back victories over UW-Platteville and UW-River Falls, respectively. In his final outing of the season against the Falcons, he threw seven innings and allowed three runs while striking out six.
Austin Buck (Jr. - Afton, Minn./Stillwater) was the Blugolds' representative on the WIAC's All-Sportsmanship team.
