SAINT PETER, Minn. (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team wrapped up their 2025 campaign on Saturday at the NCGA Division III National Championships, hosted Gustavus Adolphus College. The two Blugold participants on the balance beam included a pair of National Championship,
Meghan Dahlin (So. – Holland, Mich.) and
Ella Montgomery (Fr. – Edina, Minn.).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Meghan Dahlin hit her season high and tied her second-best career score with her routine. Dahlin tallied the fourth highest score of the day with a 7.750 and tied for 14th place.
- Dahlin competed at nationals for the second consecutive season on the beam. She improved on last year's performance, where she placed ninth.
- Ella Montgomery made her nationals debut and kept up with the field of 48 athletes as she tied for 17th with her second highest score of the season, 7.250.
