ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Indoor Track & Field teams concluded their 2025 campaigns at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. The final day of competition was highlighted by five Blugolds earning All-American status and
Adam Strouf becoming an individual national champion. The men's team finished 15th overall and the women placed 14th.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Adam Strouf (Sr. – Rice Lake, Wis.) claimed the top spot on the podium in the men's shot put with a personal best throw of 18.35m. Strouf held the lead after his second throw of 18.16m but then extended his mark on his fifth attempt to claim the crown. Strouf's 1st place finish is his first national championship after taking 4th place in 2024.
- Wes Keller (Sr. – Richland Center, Wis.) earned his All-American finish of his career with a 5th place finish in the men's high jump. The senior's personal best of 2.08m landed him above 15 other competitors and a spot on the podium.
- The women's 4x400 relay team earned All-American honors on a record tying run. The team of Kylee Grabarski (Jr. - Waunakee, Wis.), McKenzie Kruse (Fr. - Spring Green, Wis./River Valley), Allyson Kakes (Fr. - Two Rivers, Wis.), and Mya Cinnamo (So. - Rosemount, Minn.) tied the program's fastest time of 3:49.94 as each Blugold ran less than 59 seconds in each of their 400 splits.
- Laura Betrang earned 2nd team All-America honors with a 12th place finish in the women's high jump.

The Blugolds will gear up for the Outdoor season this spring with their first competition set for April 5 at the Ashton May Invitational in La Crosse, Wis.
