MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of November 24 - 30. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball's Delaney Nyenhuis has been named the Women's Basketball Player of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Nyenhuis helped the Blugolds extend their win streak to five games with wins over St. Norbert College (Wis.) and University of Minnesota-Morris. She posted her third double-double of the season against the Green Knights on Nov. 25, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 boards, including four offensive rebounds. On Nov. 30, Nyenhuis continued her strong play in the paint with 13 rebounds, including seven offensive, as she averaged 12.5 rebounds during the week. Defensively, Nyenhuis recorded 4.5 steals a game as the Blugolds tallied 27 points off turnovers during the two victories.
