MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of November 17 - 23. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball's Kyla Overskei has been named the Women's Basketball Player of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Overskei led the Blugolds to two wins during the week, while setting a career record and defeating the College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) and Simpson College (Iowa). She established a personal single-game record on with 32 points, while shooting 57.1 percent from the field against the Saints. While averaging 28.5 points and shooting 48.8 percent between the two games, Overskei led the Blugolds from beyond the arc with five 3-pointers in each game and went a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line. In the paint, Overskei averaged four rebounds a game and added three assists. During her personal best game against St. Scholastica, Kyla recorded zero turnovers.
