The defensive efforts continued as Charlie Mroz made a crucial save from a shot by the Raiders. McDermott further increased the lead with another goal in the 82nd minute with a low driven shot, solidifying a 3-0 score.

The Raiders managed to break through in the closing moments with a goal making it 3-1. The Blugolds maintained their lead through the end of the half, securing a 3-1 victory at the final whistle.
