Oshkosh, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team finished the WIAC Cross Country Championships placing 6th out of the 8 WIAC teams with 135 total points. The team finished one individual in the top 3, and three in the top 30.

The Blugolds were led by a big 3rd-place overall finish from Jack Hesse-Withbroe, running 23:53.2. following him was Ian Barnes finishing at 25:00.3 (24th), and Andrew Thaler 25:08.8 (32nd). Jack Nelson 25:20.6 (42nd), Troy Verstrate 25:24.2 (46th), Gavin Stewart 25:26.2 (49th), and Cooper Feltz 25:26.7 (50th) packed behind them to round off the top 50.
