DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Embry-Riddle University on Tuesday at Crotty Tennis Complex. The Eagles, ranked 16th nationally in Division II, won each match to sweep the dual.
The Blugolds' best fight against their highly ranked opponent came at No. 1 doubles, where
Hunter Roseth (Jr. - Lakeville, Minn./South) and
Demetri Bush (Sr. - Edina, Minn./Duluth Marshall) fell by a 7-5 score. All the singles matches finished in straight sets.
UW-Eau Claire returns to the court on Wednesday, March 20. The Blugolds take on Barry University at 3 p.m. Eastern in Orlando.
